Hi Abdul Sorry for not replying sooner but have had great difficulty in sourcing updated drivers for my scanner, it appears that Canon has made a decision not to update drivers for this product to work with Windows 10, and so it looks like my flatbed scanner old model it may be is to be confined to the scrapheap.
In reply to OscarOwen's post on December 6, I have actually had it working but under a clean install of Win10 32bit. No luck under the 64 bit version though. I have had this working properly though and have scanned photos perfectly fine. It seems to hinge on getting the Canoscan driver installed, which it doesn't seem to like doing. Thanks for your input. My system is a 64bit install of windows 10 and as you have encountered my problem, canon have not produced a driver for this scanner.
Therefore I am not hopeful that one will be forthcoming in the near future but one lives in hope. In reply to OscarOwen's post on December 16, Not ideal but it got around my problem. In my case, there is only a Lide60 listed under canon, no other scanner model hence the driver should be installed during above step 1 and 2. Thank you! If you do not pull up Canon drivers in your driver profile, you will need to download the LiDE 60 drivers.
Use WinRar to unpack it to a folder, and then search for the driver in whichever folder you unpacked it. I was able to click on the driver, my system let me know it might not work with my device, it installed it successfully, and I was able to scan with my LiDE 35 in Win7 64 pro, no problem.
